About Erica

Hello! I’m Erica Schwartz, a therapist dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with a balanced and practical approach. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness to address anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and parenting concerns.

With CBT, we'll examine and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Solution-Focused Therapy will guide us in setting and achieving practical goals, while Mindfulness will help you stay grounded and present through it all.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Arizona. I then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em Horns!), specializing in work with children and families.

My diverse experience spans various settings, from providing in-home support to hospice patients and their families, to counseling bereaved parents and siblings. I’ve also worked in community health environments, offering guidance and support to parents and their families. For the past three years, I’ve effectively delivered virtual therapy to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and grief, employing a combination of CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

Whether you’re dealing with emotional ups and downs, relationship difficulties, or the complexities of parenting, I’m here to provide support, clarity, and effective strategies to help you move forward with confidence and calm. Let’s work together to create positive change, to develop healthy coping skills, and to find balance in your life.
